ReturnGO integrates with Cybersource to provide a solution for in-portal checkout and instant exchanges. This integration enables you to offer a seamless checkout experience directly within the return portal.

Requirements
This integration is currently in beta and not yet available to all merchants. Apply to join the beta.
To link Cybersource to your ReturnGO account, you will need:
- Cybersource account
- Cybersource merchant ID
- Displayed at the top of your Cybersource account page.
- Displayed at the top of your Cybersource account page.
- Cybersource API Key
- Cybersource API Secret
To get your Cybersource API keys:
- In your Cybersource account, go to Payment Configuration > Key Management.
- Click GENERATE KEY in the top right corner.
- Under REST APIs, select REST – Shared Secret.
- Click GENERATE KEY.
- Copy both the Key and Shared Secret.
Note: The Shared Secret will not be displayed again, so be sure to save it securely.
Linking Your Cybersource Account to ReturnGO
To link your Cybersource account to ReturnGO:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Click on +ADD PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
- Choose Cybersource from the drop-down list.
- Click on the check mark.
- Enter your credentials.
- Click CONNECT.
Enabling Portal Checkout
Portal Checkout enables customers to complete payments for exchanges or additional charges directly within the return portal.
You can configure Cybersource to be used as the payment solution for this checkout process.
To enable Cybersource for Portal Checkout:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Open the Cybersource integration.
- Toggle Enable Portal Checkout to ON.
- Click on the save icon to save your changes.
Once enabled, ReturnGO will use Cybersource to process in-portal payments during the return flow.
Note: Portal Checkout must also be enabled under Settings > Store Settings for it to be active during the return process.
Enabling Direct Refunds with Cybersource
Direct Refunds enables ReturnGO to issue refund payments directly to your customers.
To enable Cybersource for Direct Refunds:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Open the Cybersource integration.
- Toggle Direct Refunds to ON.
- Fill in the required fields:
- Gateway Name
- Create RMA Config in JSON Format
Note: These fields are required for direct refunds to function correctly. To obtain the correct values for these fields, please contact ReturnGO Support. These must be configured based on your store’s specific settings.
5. Click on the save icon to save your changes.
Cybersource Test Mode
You can enable Sandbox mode to test your Cybersource integration before processing real transactions. To use Cybersource in Sandbox mode, you will need to have a sandbox Cybersource account and connect the integration using those credentials.
To activate Sandbox mode:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Open the Cybersource integration card.
- Enter your credentials.
- Check the Sandbox mode checkbox.
- Click CONNECT.
