You can customize your return portal to support different currencies, languages, and markets, helping create a localized experience for customers around the world. This is especially useful if your store operates internationally and sells in various regions.
Currencies
Your store’s default currency is automatically pulled from your eCommerce platform. It acts as the base currency used for conversion and pricing logic across your return portal.
Multiple Currencies
You can set up your return portal to handle returns and exchanges in multiple currencies, matching the currencies used at checkout.
When a customer initiates a return, the return portal automatically detects the currency used in the original order and displays refund and exchange values in the same currency. This helps maintain a consistent customer experience and prevents confusion about currency conversions.
To enable multiple currencies:
- Go to Settings > Store Settings.
- Open the Store Information section.
- Enable the Multiple Currency Support toggle.
- Click on the save icon to save your changes.
Rounding Converted Prices
If you want to round converted prices, enabling Round Converted Prices ensures that all prices will be rounded in the relevant currency. This can help prevent unusual or confusing decimals for customers in localized currencies.
To round converted prices:
- Enable the Multiple Currency Support toggle.
- Enable the Round Converted Prices toggle.
- Click the save icon to save your changes.
Multiple Languages
You can customize the return portal and emails to support multiple languages, enabling your customers to interact with your returns process in their preferred language.
ReturnGO lets you edit and translate all the text that appears in the return portal and customer-facing emails. This ensures a consistent and personalized brand experience across different regions.
The portal’s default language is based on your store’s settings, and customers will automatically see the portal and receive emails in the same language as the one used on your store site during the return process.
To manage languages, go to Settings > Languages, where you can enable languages and choose your default. You can customize translations directly from the dashboard or download a CSV file to edit texts in bulk using a spreadsheet tool to manage content across multiple languages efficiently.
Multiple Markets
ReturnGO supports stores operating in multiple markets or languages, as long as they are configured under a single domain using subdirectories (e.g., /es/, /fr/).
For example, if a customer is browsing the French market at yourstore.com/fr/, the portal will correctly preserve the /fr/ path during redirection to the product page and back to the portal during Shop Now.
If your store uses different domains for each market (e.g., yourstore.fr, yourstore.de), set up multiple portals for each.
