Email Verification

To ensure account security and access to all ReturnGO features, you must verify your email address.

For Shopify stores, you will receive an email verification request when a Shopify store is connected to your ReturnGO account. 


Why Verify Your Email?

Verifying your email is crucial for maintaining the security of your ReturnGO account. It helps us confirm your identity and prevents unauthorized access. Additionally, email verification enables you to access all features of ReturnGO.

How to Verify Your Email

To verify your email: 

  1. Log in to your ReturnGO account.

    1. Go to the ReturnGO login page and enter your credentials.

    2. If your store is hosted on Shopify and you haven't set up a password yet, you will need to log in to ReturnGO through your Shopify account.

  2. Check your email inbox belonging to the owner email of the store, as configured in your eCommerce platform i.e. Shopify.

    1. This can be found on Shopify under Settings > General > Store details.

  3. You'll receive an email with the subject line "Confirm Your ReturnGO Account”.

  4. In the email, click the CONFIRM ACCOUNT button to verify your email address.

  5. Once verified, you'll have full access to all ReturnGO features and functionalities.

Important Notes

  • Required for Each New Store: Email verification is required for every new Shopify store you connect to your ReturnGO account.
  • Confirmation Link Validity: The confirmation link in the email is valid for 24 hours. If you don't verify your email within this timeframe, you'll receive a new link upon your next login.
  • Login Required: You must be logged into the new store's ReturnGO account to verify your email address. If you just set up your ReturnGO account, you'll need to log in through your Shopify account.
  • Unverified Status: If you see (Unverified) next to your email address in your account settings, it indicates that your email address has not yet been verified.

Troubleshooting

  • Link Expired? If the confirmation link has expired, simply log back into your ReturnGO account, and you'll receive a new email with a fresh link.
  • Login Issues? Double-check you are logged into the correct ReturnGO account for the store you're verifying. If you're logged into different accounts in separate browser windows, this can cause issues. Try copying the verification link directly from the email.
