ReturnGO integrates with Adyen to enable you to issue refunds directly through your payment gateway. This integration is especially useful if you're using an eCommerce platform that doesn’t support built-in refund functionality or a custom platform.
Note: This integration currently only supports refunds and cannot be used for other portal payment-related features.
Requirements
This integration can be enabled upon request.
To integrate your Adyen account with ReturnGO, you will need:
- Merchant ID
- Adyen prefix
To get your Adyen prefix:
- Log in to your Adyen account and click on Developers > API URLs > Prefix.
- In the Adyen Live Customer Area, find your prefix in the following format:
https://{PREFIX}-checkout-live.adyenpayments.com/checkout/v71/payments
- Copy the {PREFIX} portion and use it when connecting Adyen in ReturnGO.
- Adyen API key
To get your Adyen API credentials:
- Log in to your Adyen account and click on Developers > API Credentials.
- Click CREATE NEW CREDENTIAL.
- Select Web service user as the Credential type.
- Add a description for the new API credential.
- Click CREATE CREDENTIAL.
- Select all account permissions:
- Management API – Accounts read
- Management API – Accounts read and write
- Management API – API credentials read and write
- Management API – Payout Account Settings Read
- Management API – Webhooks read
- Management API – Webhooks read and write
- Management API – Payment methods read
7. In the Accounts section, select Only selected account groups and merchant accounts, and select the relevant accounts.
8. Copy the API key and use it when connecting Adyen in ReturnGO.
Linking Your Adyen Account to ReturnGO
To link your Adyen account to ReturnGO:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Click +ADD PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
- Select Adyen from the drop-down list.
- Click on the check mark.
- Enter the required credentials.
- Click CONNECT.
Once the integration is active, refunds will be issued through Adyen.
