ReturnGO integrates with Braintree to enable you to use the Braintree payments solution for easy in-portal checkout and instant exchanges.

Note: If a customer returns an exchanged item that was paid for through Braintree, you’ll need to issue a refund manually through Braintree to process a refund to the original payment method. However, for store credit or alternative refund methods, the refund can be processed directly via ReturnGO as usual.
Requirements
This feature is currently in beta and not yet available to all merchants. Apply to join the beta here.
To link Braintree to your ReturnGO account, you will need:
- Braintree account
- Braintree public key
- Braintree private key
To get your Braintree API keys:
- Go to your Braintree account.
- Click on the settings icon in the top right of the screen.
- Click API.
Linking Your Braintree Account to ReturnGO
To link your Braintree account to ReturnGO:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Click on +ADD PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
4. Click on the check mark.
6. Click CONNECT.
Braintree Test Mode
You can enable Sandbox mode to test your Braintree integration before processing real transactions. To use Braintree in Sandbox mode, you will need to have a sandbox Braintree account and connect the integration using those credentials.
To activate Sandbox mode:
- Go to Integration > Products & Services.
- Add the Braintree integration.
- Enter your sandbox account’s API credentials.
- Enable the Sandbox mode checkbox.
- Click CONNECT.
