How do I set up my ReturnGO return portal with Magento 2?

To set up your ReturnGO return portal with Magento 2, first install ReturnGO on Magento. Then, integrate your return portal into your Magento 2 site.

How are Magento 2 refunds processed with ReturnGO?

Magento 2 offers native support for refunds to the original payment method. When a return is initiated through ReturnGO, it notifies Magento 2 to execute the refund automatically.

What types of refunds are supported?

Types of refunds supported by ReturnGO for Magento 2:

  • Refund to Payment Method
    • Refunds to the original payment method used for the purchase are supported natively by Magento.
  • Gift Cards
    • To issue gift cards, you’ll need to use a Magento extension.
  • Store Credit (Coming Soon)
    • ReturnGO is working on a solution using discount codes to facilitate store credit as a refund option on Magento.

How do exchanges work on Magento?

Customers can easily exchange items for another variant of the same product (such as size or color), and any price difference is calculated automatically.

It's important to note that in order to support exchanging to a more expensive variant, you will need to use the Portal Checkout feature, which enables customers to pay the price difference in-portal when exchanging for a higher-priced variant.

Product exchanges are not currently supported.

What return analytics are available with the ReturnGO Magento 2 integration?

ReturnGO offers detailed return analytics that give you valuable insights into return patterns and customer behavior, helping you make better decisions about pricing, products, the customer experience, and more. 

Additional analytics features such as order analytics, transactions, and credits analytics are not yet supported in the Magento integration.

Can I customize my return policy rules?

Yes, you can customize your policy rules to support return scenarios based on your store’s requirements. You have full flexibility to set advanced return eligibility conditions using any combination of item, order, customer, and RMA information, to define exactly under what circumstances a return or exchange is eligible.

Can I charge taxes on fees/shipping?

ReturnGO does not currently support charging taxes on fees or shipping costs associated with Magento 2 returns.

What features are coming soon for the ReturnGO Magento 2 integration?
