Multiple return portals allow you to offer different return experiences based on your business needs. For example, you might have separate portals for different storefronts, regions, or product lines. You can also set up specialized portals, such as a warranty portal.
Each portal operates independently, so you can customize the policy rules, return methods, and customer notifications for each one. This flexibility helps you provide a tailored experience for your customers while managing all requests in your ReturnGO dashboard.
Customizing Each Return Portal
You can customize each return portal individually to match your brand’s style and create a seamless experience for your customers. This includes adjusting layout, fonts, colors, borders, button styles, and previewing changes before publishing.
Editing and Translating Texts
You can customize all the text shown on your return portals and in customer emails, enabling you to maintain consistent branding and communicate in your customers’ preferred languages.
If you manage multiple return portals, you will need to configure text edits, translations, and language settings separately for each portal.
Integrations for Multiple Portals
You’ll need to connect integrations individually for each portal. This includes shipping integrations, helpdesk platforms, and any other integrations. Make sure each portal is fully set up with its relevant integrations to ensure everything functions smoothly and accurately across your return processes.
Customer Notifications
You need to set up the email settings individually for each portal, including marketing integrations if relevant, and specify the emails to be sent per portal. This ensures that notification emails are tailored to the specific portal experience.
Modifying the Return Portal URL
Set up a unique URL for each return portal. Configure the portal URL in both your Shopify app proxy settings and the ReturnGO dashboard. You can also create a custom URL to better align with your store’s identity and structure.
Testing Your Return Portal
After setting up your ReturnGO account, you can easily test each of your return portals to see how they work for your customers. There are two main ways to test:
- Preview Mode: View a specific portal without creating actual return requests or triggering emails. It’s a safe way to explore return options using real orders that don’t have existing RMAs.
- Live Portal with Test Orders: Create test orders in your store and access each live portal to experience the full return flow, including email notifications and RMA status updates.
Preview mode is great for quick checks, while testing with live orders lets you simulate the complete customer experience across your different portals.
